Typical Trackday
So what will it be like when you get there? The gates at No Problem
Raceway usually open at 7:30 am. We suggest arriving at 8am on the
morning of trackdays. This will allow you to get signed in, and get
your bike ready before the rider's meeting, and allow you to take the
track without any delays. This is important as we try to take the track
at 9am sharp. We will do a brief technical inspection of your machine
to ensure no major mechanical problems exist. REMEBER however, the
ultimate responsibility of ensuring that your machine is safe lies with
YOU.
We usually divide our riders up into 2-3 groups. "A" group riders are
generally racer's, and more experienced trackday riders. "B" group
riders are an intermediate mix of riders, and the "C" group consists of
first timers, and riders who want a more controlled riding experience.
The rules for "C" group include no passing in the corners so that newer
riders do not get spooked while they are still becoming comfortable on
the track. Riding sessions are 20-30 min long each, depending on the
number of groups run (2 or 3)
On Sunday track days we usually ride from 9-4 with an hour lunch break,
and on Monday's we ride from 9-2 with no scheduled breaks.
Unfortunately we do not offer food/drinks in any quantity, so plan
accordingly and pack lots of fluids and snacks.
We do not offer any formal instruction at this time, but we are in the
process of putting together a program of instruction for both new and
experienced riders alike. HOWEVER, we welcome new riders and will
always spend time with new riders getting them prepared for their track
experience, to ensure a safe and fun experience.
